Electron City is two cities with two women walking in them at night. In one (found footage) light is all that remains. In the other (created in AI) there was never anything else.

This one-off show was commissioned as part of Channel 4's Cradle to the Grave season about the NHS. It was intended to raise awareness of health issues that can shorten life expectancy. In order to attract an audience that might not normally watch a serious health show, it was presented in game-show format with comedic elements, interspersed with statistics and expert contributions.

On a clear night in Belfast, two workmen and their apprentice work methodically to change the city’s streetlights from orange sodium to white LED. As the night progresses, a city searching for clarity starts to come into focus.

1995年，神隐岛800多余名岛民一夜之间全部神秘死亡，只有一名少女存活，她即是本作的主角若竹玛丽。四年后，16岁的若竹玛丽离开了祖母进入私立寄宿制女子高中－－海凰学园，在去学校的途中，她看到了一位伫立在鸽群中的少女－－千光寺萩乃。萩乃在学校里是人人憧憬的学校干部，可是在玛丽的碰触下荻乃却突然暴走……其实，荻乃的另一身份是潜入地球人中进行调查的外星人地球调查舰队第五舰的舰长，而95年发生的神隐岛事件正是由萩乃的战舰发生事故造成。因为战舰在事故中严重毁坏，荻乃留在了地球，同时潜入人类社会继续调查。可是事情远不止于此，玛丽的出现推动了整个故事的进程……一场百合大战即将在海凰学园展开。
